We want our booking process to be as straight forward as possible. 

Please read our Terms and Conditions (T's & C's) carefully before booking.

Making a Booking with The Beauty Training Group

We are pleased that you are looking to train with one of our highly qualified Educators!

 

1. To make a booking, firstly, you need to contact the Educator in your chosen area, to confirm there are still spaces available on the course that you are interested in.

 

2. Once you have confirmed details with your Educator, you will need to pay a booking fee to secure your booking. All booking fees are non-refundable & non transferable. After you have paid your booking fee, you can spread your payments until the balance is paid. Once the booking fee has been paid, your Educator will email you over the details of the course.

 

3. The balance of the course MUST be received at least 2 weeks prior to your course date. Failure to do so, may result in your space being offered to somebody on the waiting list, and your booking fee will be lost. 

 

4. A model will be required for your course so that you can carry out the practical training on the day. Timings of when a model is needed will be included in the information your Educator sends you. We strongly advise you to find someone who is reliable, as the practical assessment of the training course is very important. Models must be over 18yrs, not have any medical conditions which prevent them having the treatment done and must not be pregnant.

 

5. Your kit and training manual will be ready for you on the day of training. If you are taking part in a course where your model must be patch tested, your Educator will send you details of how the model can arrange a patch test. If you live a distance from your training location, you may need to patch test your model yourself, at least 48hours in advance of the course. Everything you need, including instructions and equipment, will be sent out in the post, prior to your course. Please ensure you bring your patch testing products with you on the day of training.

 

6. If you have any questions or queries regarding your training course, please speak with your Educator direct. They are there to help and support you from the very start.

UPDATED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS...

We are currently experiencing extremely unusual circumstances with the UK in unprecedented times due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.

We have been advised by the Government that our business must close with immediate effect, and to follow the strict guidelines they have set in place and for us to follow the safe social distancing measures. 

Please understand that we have not, and will not 'CANCEL' any courses because of these circumstances, however, we have had no choice but to POSTPONE ALL scheduled courses for the meantime.

This decision is totally out of The Beauty Training Group's hands, and we only hope that our students understand what a difficult situation this puts us and our business in.

We have absolutely no problem transferring any monies which have been paid, to a future date. At this moment in time, we cannot be sure when we will be able to reschedule, but as soon as the Government say it is safe to do so, we will absolutely do everything we can to accommodate our students with dates that suit both them and us.

Should any students who prefer to/choose to cancel the course before we can reschedule a date, please see below the original terms and conditions that you agreed to upon booking.

Our priority at the moment is to encourage everybody to stay home, follow the Governments guidelines and of course stay safe. We can only hope that these unprecedented times blow over as quickly as they arrived.

We are working tirelessly behind the scenes to try and offer students an alternative option with training courses, perhaps an online option, but again its difficult as you will need 'real humans' to practice your new skills on, and not everybody will have this option available. There are also some grey areas with regards to accreditation with online training, and we will not allow our students to be in a position where they may not gain a fully accredited qualification at the end of the course. The quality of our training is of the highest standard and any alternative methods we offer must meet these standards also. 

So once again, we truly hope you support us during these difficult times. We genuinely value your custom and patience and we hope that we will be able to see you all in person, very soon!

By making a payment for any training course with 

The Beauty Training Group (and/or any of The Beauty Training Group Educators) you agree to the following:

 

  • To take out Student Insurance prior to the training course. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate cover, which is especially important during the case study period. This usually costs around £25 with ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists). If you are already a qualified therapist with insurance, you should contact your Insurer and make them aware you are training in a new treatment and ensure you are covered adequately.

  • To work safely, during and after the training course, following all instructions that have been given to you by your Educator

  • To complete case studies within the allocated time-frame (usually 3 months maximum from date of training)

  • To understand that not every case study may be accepted. This is NOT a negative thing. You may just require some further advice, guidance and support before being signed off. This gives you even more mentoring/training with your Educator. Your Educator will always provide constructive, helpful and clear feedback to help you continue to make improvements. We are here to ensure you are working safely and that you are confident & competent before working on your own. Trust us! You will thank us in the long run when you have a very successful business due to high quality treatments.

  • To accept that if you do not complete case studies within the allocated time-frame, that you may have to pay for further training. We understand there may be times, beyond your control, where you are unable to keep within the allocated time-frame, therefore, all we ask is that you contact your Educator at your earliest opportunity if you have any reasons that are stopping you from completing on time. We are here to help.

 

Models for Practical Assessments:

It is the students responsibility to provide their own model(s) for all training courses. We strongly advise you to find someone who is reliable, as the practical assessment of the training course is very important. Your Educator will do their best to arrange a model for you, when enough advanced notice is given and only if you cannot provide one yourself. The Beauty Training Group and their Educators cannot guarantee they will be able to provide a model, especially at short notice. Models must be over 18yrs, not have any medical conditions which prevent them having the treatment done and must not be pregnant. Models will require a patch test at least 48hrs in advance of the course (if applicable). Your Educator will send details regarding patch testing.

 

The Beauty Training Group reserve the right to change or amend the terms and conditions of booking at short notice, but endeavour to inform students at the earliest opportunity, should there be any changes. If there is anything that is not clear, we advise you to contact your Educator or The Beauty Training Group BEFORE booking any course. 

 

By making a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.  

 

 

 

Cancellation of Course

Should the course be cancelled by your local Educator or The Beauty Training Group, students will be offered a full refund, or the opportunity to move the course to an alternative date that is suitable for both the trainer and the student.

 

If the student cancels the booking less than 2 weeks before the course date, all payments made will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

If the student cancels more than 2 weeks before the course date, the booking fee will remain non-refundable and any other monies that have been paid will be returned after the deduction of a £25 admin fee.

 

We strongly advise all students to ensure they are 100% able to attend the particular date that they have requested, BEFORE paying any monies for a training course. 

 

The Beauty Training Group reserve the right to change or amend the terms and conditions of booking at short notice, but endeavour to inform students at the earliest opportunity, should there be any changes. If there is anything that is not clear, we advise you to contact your Educator or The Beauty Training Group BEFORE booking any course.
