BEGINNERS
WARM & HOT
WAXING

We are excited to introduce our NEW and UPDATED Waxing Course!

Our course now covers the use of both Warm (non-strip) Wax and Hot (strip wax)

This means, once case studies are complete, you will be qualified to safely use both waxing techniques for your clients.

Waxing is a treatment that a wide range of clients will want all year round. Unlike many other treatments, hair removal is a regular must for the majority of clients, therefore this treatment will ensure a high turnover or repeat clients.

Students will learn the background Anatomy behind the skin and hair, understand different waxing techniques and learn the contra-indications and safety aspect of the treatment, before receiving a demonstration by the tutor.

Students will then get the chance to practice the treatment on their models on the day of training.

All our courses are fully accredited and insured by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) and students will be able to obtain insurance immediately after the course.

You will learn how to wax the following areas;

  • Eyebrows

  • Upper Lip

  • Chin

  • Legs

  • Underarms

  • Basic Bikini Line

IS A MODEL REQUIRED?

  • YES! You will work on a live model 12.30-3pm, with the support and supervision of your Educator.

We encourage you to arrange your own model for the day, but your Educator may be able to arrange a model for you, with enough notice. Please discuss this with your Educator, at time of booking.

  • Models must be over 18 yrs old, have no medical issues or sensitivities and must NOT be pregnant.

DO I GAIN A RECOGNISED QUALIFICATION?

  • YES! We are proud that ALL of our courses are fully accredited and students will gain a certificate and recognised qualification, here in the UK. For many of our courses, you are required to submit case studies after the initial training day, for us to ensure you are competent and confident in the treatment, before issuing a certificate.

ARE THERE ANY CASE STUDIES?

  • For many of our courses (Waxing included), you are required to submit case studies after the initial training day, for us to ensure you are competent and confident in the treatment, before issuing a certificate. This basically means, you will leave the course and get the opportunity to go home and practice your new skills on friends and family. You will then send clear before and after photos to your Educator, for them to assess. Your Educator will offer you some tips, guidance and support to help you to make improvements with each set. Once they are happy that you are working safely, that your competent and confident in the treatment, they will issue you with your recognised qualification and certificate. Students will get 3 months from the course date, to complete 4 successful case studies. We see case studies as a fantastic way to support students, even once the initial training day is complete. This also gives students a chance to continue to work closely with their Educator, until they feel ready to "go it alone".
